"To cross the borders, during a short moment, the duo opens breccia and goes on an adventure. On this playground, all the gambles are taken until wildest. The hurdy-gurdy is controlled over the set of its registers, melodic, rhythmic and bruitiste. Inspired by many various game modes, the compositions come follow in a perfect balance of contrast. This duo is at the crossroads of a reinvention of typically modal monodies, specific to this instrument, and a more tonal thinking harmonic game. The guests musicians are incorporated with precision in the process. Not only the hurdy-gurdy is to honor, also the writing makes a tribute to the small form of duo, based on the changing role and function of the musician : attendant or accompanied. " Norbert Pignol
