“La Part des Anges” (the Angel’s Share) is a handcrafted, home-brewed album.
Some of the tunes reflect their legacy as live musicians: much like a traditional belgian ale, malty and flavourful, these compositions are infused with a earthy repertoire of neo-traditional and occitan inspiration, swirling in the fumes of the folk Imaginarium from the Grenoble hillsides.
Others are more akin to the complex alchemy of a pale ale, subtle and bitter. These were crafted by the duo, for the duo, and they reveal the more refined notes that can be produced by the concerted efforts of the two artists. They are the meeting ground of two very different musical journeys, that mingled and fused to create this lush, full-bodied album, for all your senses to enjoy.
