  Chris Wood and Jean-François Vrod met in February 1995 during the English tour « Fiddles on fire » with Kevin Burke, Mats Eden, Ellika Frisell… This long tour offered them the opportunity to create a common repertoire. Then, in duo, they did several tours in England, France and Belgium. In 19they registered this album « Crossing » at the Embraud farm (Allier, France) for the English label Ruf Records.
