Both Lucile and Carol write personal and involved songs in which they literally lay bare, and not only on the sleeve. Their music is honest, direct, provocative and always sensitive. They talk about themselves as they talk about us. The broken down vibrato, shoplifting, desire for maternity, the father's death, and even the lice. Subjects are dealt with the same talent, nothing going out of tune. For this album, we feel a tender complicity. A delight.
