For many years, The « Quatuor Béla » has crisscrossed the paths of contemporary music while mixing their classical universe with artists from other influences (the evasive rocker Albert Marcoeurs, the extraordinary punk Fantizio, the n'goni mandingue player Moriba Koïta...). Here, the four musicians of the Quatuor Béla offer the fruit of a long-standing complicity with the traditional improviser and violinist Jean-François Vrod.
« Retour sur le Coissard Balbutant » is a talking concert where improvised and traditional musics are mixed with a text written as a modern fable. It talks about the alarmist observations of some scientists about migration disruptions of a bird called the coissard barlbutant, which seems to make trouble in human societies...
The album is like the encounter : strange and particular. Every sleeve is a unique graphic art piece.
